Lao Book Festival 2016

The Japanese international non-government organization Action with Lao Children (ALC) is partnering with the Department of Education and Sports to promote reading and literacy, for this year's Lao Book Festival 2016.

This year's festival will be held over four separate periods starting from March 28-29 at the Luang Namtha provincial culture centre in Namtha district.  On April 25 -26 events will take place at Nakang Primary School in Meuangfeuang district, Vientiane province, then from April 28-29 it moves to the Education and Sports Office in Meun district before making its way to Xanakham Secondary School in Xanakham district, Vientiane province, from May 9-10.
