Making Buddha statues at Wat Sainyaphum in Savannakhet.
You've probably seen many similar statues in their final state while traveling in Laos. However, this is what Buddha statues look like as they're being made.
The work is generally done by artisans using molds with wire frames and concrete plaster. Then fine details with different Buddha parts are added. Finally the entire piece is painted over.
