Beautiful Lao temple stencil art on display

Art exhibit featuring the detailed black and gold stencil art from That Luang Temple in Luang Prabang.  The art pieces were on display as part of the 8th Lao Studies Conference 2026 in the CATS Library at  Heidelberg University in Germany.  The work was presented by Tiao Nithakhong Somsanith (on behalf of his talented team) and curated by Peter Simms and Hanno Lecher.  The exhibition will be shown September 11 - October 26, 2026Source:  Jana Igunma via Facebook, September 12, 2026
