Ms. Souvankham Thammavongsa becomes the 1st Lao-Canadian to win the Giller Prize 2020

Congratulations Ms. Souvankham Thammavongsa! Winner of this year's Giller Prize for her book entitled "How to pronounce Knife" published by McClelland & Stewart. She also recieves the $100,000 prize courtesy of Scotiabank.
She is the first Lao-Canadian to win this award.
