There's a German artist known simply as Tona who has been travelling around the world painting his unique street art featuring profiles of locals in each city he visits, including Vientiane.
His style is reminiscent of Banksy, another famous international street artist from England.
For Tona, Laos was amongst his travels a few years ago. Follow along with Lao freelance photographer Vilavong Sundala as he searches for Tona's art in Vientiane.
