In Asia, people love gold and Laos is no different in that regard.
The Lao Bullion Bank launched the inaugural Lao Gold Festival on September 5-7, 2025 at the National Convention Hall in Vientiane, Laos.
There were 50 gold based businesses along with 15 silk shops at the event. As well, one of the key events was a fashion show presenting both traditional Lao silk clothing with beautiful Lao designed gold jewelry.
Additionally, high level seminars with industry experts were held and networking activities for entrepreneurs and investors.
LBB also used the occasion to launch their new LBB Plus app which will allow people to safely buy, trade, and invest in Lao gold online. They even showcased a new vending machine where people could buy gold.
LBB was created in 2023 between the Ministry of Finance and PTL Holding Co., Ltd.
