Image: Lao themed 3D pop-up cards
May be it's the child in me that I absolutely love 3D pop-up cards (which probably comes from my love of pop-up books when I was a kid). But Lao themed cards ones are even more fun.
Have a look at these ones.
You can sometimes find them for sale in souvenir shops or stands either in Vientiane or Luang Prabang. Buy them when you find them because they seem to be in limited supply.
They're great to give away as gifts but also just to keep as decorative art in one's home like on a bookshelf.
