Admittedly, typical Lao cuisine is mostly meat based. However, this doesn't mean that you can't find vegan and vegetarian options, as this Youtuber did.
And while many people may not think of Vientiane as a food paradise, the truth is it has the most varied food options for both local and international cuisine than any other Lao city.
