The Khmu people are amongst the largest ethnic groups in Laos and are considered an indigenous ethnic group believed to have inhabited parts of southeast Asia for thousands of years. Today, their people are mostly spread across northern Laos, Thailand, Vietnam, and China.
Their language is quite distinct from Lao and is quite fascinating to hear. Watch these 2 videos to learn some of the basics of their language.
